Who is responsible?

Untaylored is responsible for processing personal information through this website. Contact us at hello@untaylored.com or by post at Mastellestraat 1, 3020 Herent, Belgium. Our company registration number is BE 0726.760.424.

When you ask a question

The contact form asks for your name, email address and message. Your company name is optional. We use this information to answer your question, contact you and handle the related follow-up and administration. Do not share sensitive or confidential information that we do not need for these purposes.

Your enquiry is saved. An email containing your name, email address, company name if provided and full message is sent to our mailbox at hello@untaylored.com. This form does not send you an automatic reply or automatically subscribe you to a newsletter.

For enquiries about a possible collaboration, we process information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. For other enquiries and related follow-up, we rely on our legitimate interest in handling correspondence. To protect the website and prevent spam, we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and usable.

Technical information and spam checks

We also store a unique enquiry number, the time, the status and reference of the email notification, and a technical checksum of the content. These help us recognise duplicate submissions and check whether a notification has been processed.

To limit abuse, we store a protected checksum of your IP address, calculated using a secret value. The form does not store your original IP address in the enquiry database. This checksum does not guarantee anonymity. Cloudflare may process your original IP address and other technical information to deliver and secure the website.

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for spam checks. Cloudflare processes technical signals about your browser and device to distinguish human visits from automated traffic. Read more in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Which service providers help us?

Cloudflare provides hosting, security, storage of contact enquiries and email notifications. The enquiry database uses Cloudflare D1 with EU jurisdiction. This does not mean that all processing by Cloudflare takes place exclusively within the EU. Our mailbox is handled through Google, where the content of your enquiry is also processed.

These providers receive information for the services they deliver. Processing outside the European Economic Area requires appropriate safeguards, such as an applicable adequacy decision or European standard contractual clauses. Read more at Cloudflare and in Google’s privacy policy. You can also ask us about the safeguards that apply to your information.

Booking an introduction

The booking link takes you to Calendly’s external website. Calendly is not embedded as a calendar on this website. The details you enter there are used to arrange your appointment. Please also read Calendly’s privacy policy. A message through our contact form is not, by itself, a confirmed appointment.

How long do we keep your information?

We keep your information for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, manage related follow-up and administration, or meet a legal obligation. We consider whether your enquiry is still open, whether relevant correspondence or a collaboration is ongoing, and whether information is needed for a specific legal obligation or a dispute.

When information is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete or anonymise it. We review this manually, including the copy of your enquiry in our mailbox. The form does not automatically delete enquiries after a fixed period.

Cookies and website visits

If you allow analytics, we load Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager on untaylored.com. This measures website visits, page interactions and whether a contact enquiry has been saved. Google receives information about pages visited, your browser and your device. We do not send names, email addresses, message content or enquiry numbers as analytics data.

You can give separate consent for analytics and marketing. Before consent for a category, and after declining it, we do not load that measurement service. Your preferences are stored in your browser for up to 180 days. You can change your consent at any time through in the footer. After withdrawal, we stop new measurements and remove the relevant Analytics or Meta cookies that this website can access. Information already processed by Google or Meta is not automatically deleted.

These analytics rely on your consent. Google may process information outside the European Economic Area. Read more in Google’s privacy policy.

If you allow marketing, we use the Meta pixel to measure page views and saved contact enquiries. This helps us evaluate advertising on Facebook and Instagram and make it more relevant. Meta may receive the page visited, your IP address, browser information, cookie identifiers and any Meta click identifier, and combine these with information it already holds. We do not send names, email addresses, message content or enquiry numbers as event data, and we do not use automatic recognition of information entered into forms.

This processing also relies on your consent. Meta may process information outside the European Economic Area. Read more in Meta’s privacy policy. We do not measure a click to Calendly as a booked appointment.

For hosting and security, Cloudflare may process technical information and, depending on the security feature used, use essential cookies or similar technologies. External websites you visit through a link, such as Calendly, have their own policies.

Your rights

You can ask to access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete information or restrict its use. You can object to processing based on a legitimate interest. Where the legal conditions apply, you can also ask to receive your information in a portable format.

Send your request to hello@untaylored.com. Specify which information or enquiry it concerns. If needed to protect your information, we will request additional details to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month. If the law permits an extension, we will explain why within that month.

You also have the right to complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

Changes and questions

We update this policy when the website or our practices change. The date at the top shows its latest revision. Questions about your privacy? Email hello@untaylored.com.
